The Flame Thrower is the default primary weapon for the Pyro. It is a long metal pole, connected by a hose to a propane tank. The tank is attached to the pole via fastening bands. A continually lit pilot light can be seen at the nozzle. The trigger is made out of a team-colored gas pump handle.

It is a black-and-team-colored flamethrower with a large, wide barrel, a cylindrical gas tank, and pneumatic tubing on the side. A visible pressure gauge is built into the side of the weapon; the gauge's meter changes when firing or using a compression blast .
4 de mar. de 2012 · The Flamethrower is an extremely useful weapon for the Pyro. It can light enemies on fire, put out your friends, reflect rockets and bombs, and most importantly, it can actually kill things. Even the Degreaser can actually kill things.

The Flamethrower is a powerful weapon in Quake Team Fortress. Each flame does a good amount of damage when it hits a target. Combined with the damage a target that is on fire suffers, it can be a devastating weapon against weaker foes, such as the Scout. As a weapon, the Flamethrower excels at both offense and defense.
