I have had the Eris 3.5’s (Bluetooth) for a couple of years with little to no issues. All of a sudden, the white noise static has been way louder and more noticeable than previously. It doesn’t matter if the volume, highs, or lows are adjusted, it still makes the same noise.

What is this weird beeping sound in my Eris 3.5 monitor? Beeping sound persists even if my PC was turned off. Tried remove everything except the power cable, away from wifi signal, plugged to an isolated outlet without any interference from other power sources. I'd avoid the edifiers which you'll see mentioned a lot as well, they have plenty in the low end, but not in a good way. I think a better investment would be to try and find a nicer set of used studio monitors. Generally you'll find better value in your price range.
