24 de jun. de 2024 · The psychedelic sounds from Vanilla Fudge were formed with Carmine Appice, Tim Bogert, Vince Martell, and Mark Stein. Their signature tune was “You Keep Me Hangin’ On”, and, of course, a few other gems that gave solid footing to the band.
23 de jun. de 2024 · Their radical cover version of The Supremes’ hit “You Keep Me Hanging On” was issued as a single in June 1967. Dominated by the hard hitting approach of their rhythm section and the powerful Hammond organ playing of Mark Stein it became a US top 10 hit .
22 de jun. de 2024 · The Fudge, like so many legacy acts, have "drop-in" replacements for almost every member. I've seen them with Pete. Their 2012, Then and Now, didn't have Mark Stein on any of it. He has been a hired gun for tours with a lot of well-known acts for decades, so he may have been committed at the time.

When one thinks of Vanilla Fudge, one instantly remembers their big hit “You Keep Me Hanging On.” However, the band released five albums of sheer psychedelic, progressive heavy-duty hard rock and roll that stood with the best of anything released in the 1960s.
