I just listened to the Peel sessions recording after decades. It is exceptional - live and pretty clean, my favorite kind of JD performance. I listened to this band incessantly in the dark days of my teens and going back to this is like doing powerful drugs.
25 de jun. de 2024 · The Peel session version of The Man Whose Head Expanded hits way harder than the Perverted By Language take. Much more urgent and frantic and whatever they used to replicate the Casio keyboard demo rhythm on the intro is actually a huge improvement.
