24 de jun. de 2024 · Jay Reatard was one of my biggest supporters and a huge fan of Southern Trash. His personal copy was the one with the red printed cover. Before his death, Jay brought up wanting to reissue Southern Trash on his label, Shattered Records, and he wanted me to revive my One Man Band setup to open for him on a tour.

24 de jun. de 2024 · Whether it was singing in silly accents, overdubbing sloppy drums parts, or banging on an out-of-tune piano, it all felt right and sounded good to me. A CD version of After The Ball was tentatively slated to be reissued in a new remix by Jay Reatard on his label Shattered Records, but that project never came together before Jay passed away in 2010.
Wrote and recorded everything myself on a Tascam 8 track cassette recorder. Super inspired by Jay Reatard for this one. Hope you dig it.

21 de jun. de 2024 · There are moments on Great Haunting that hit the way Master of Reality would if Black Sabbath was founded by Jay Reatard and fronted by Jinx Dawson. There’s some natural grit and an exhilarating amount of sexual magnetism woven throughout.
