27 de jun. de 2024 · Stan Kenton楽団で活躍したトランぺッターによるこの2枚目のリーダー作『Conte Candoli』は特にそうで、再発のたびにコロコロと名前が変わってきた。 『Powerhouse Trumpet』などという微妙な題名になったこともあれば、作中でも印象的なバップ・ナンバー「Toots Sweet」や「Groovin' Higher」の名を冠することもあった。 確かに本作のベスト・トラックを決めるとなると議論が必要だ。 「Full Count」はCandoliの高らかなソロと、クインテットの（特にテナーBill Holmanとの）息の合ったアンサンブルが最高にスインギーに決まっている。
