I'm super duper late but here's a little guide for those who want to play the enhanced edition of Silent Hill 2 (Silent Hill 2: Enhanced Edition) meant for PC. Begin by navigating to C:\Program Files (x86)\ create a folder "Konami" and then "Silent Hill 2" inside of "Konami".
5 de mar. de 2021 · Personally, I would recommend these ways to play for each game: Silent Hill 1: Emulation through Beetle HW/ RetroArch. Silent Hill 2: Using the Enhanced Edition on PC. Silent Hill 3: Emulation through PCSX2. Silent Hill 4: Buying the gog release and emulating the PS2 version through PCSX2.
Gotta go into affinity though and knock your pc down so it's running on only one core though. See "useful links" in the sidebar. You can play It but you have to put the pc to work on only one core, dont work well with dual or quad Core. You can put also a HD textures pack.

22 de oct. de 2021 · After playing both the PS2 version and the Enhanced Edition for PC back to back, I can safely say as someone who has been stuck on the PS2 version for many years: the Enhanced Edition is the definitive way to play Silent Hill 2 now. I'll be doing my yearly playthroughs on that version of the game for the foreseeable future.
Just look up “Silent Hill game movie” on YouTube, and there are a few videos of all the cutscenes and every important gameplay bit. AND it’s only about an hour and a half long, so it’s definitely worth watching if you don’t want to play the first game. Then u can just move on to silent hill 2 on the ps2/pc/xbox.
24 de abr. de 2023 · My first experience was playing the original PC version but with a bug fixed that stopped the audio from looping endlessly. I prefer it on PS2 on a CRT and with a PS2 controller in my hand. I'm not sure if the PC version supports rumble, cuz that is definitely something that enhances the experience. Either way, it's the 2nd best way to play SH2 ...
2 de ago. de 2021 · I'm a bit late, but in case you still want to play this on PC: what you are downloading is the recommended pre-extracted version of the game, ready for the enhanced version. It does NOT contain the enhanced version. All you need to do is follow the two-step section called "How to play Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams" just under the sinopsis here:

It's hard to give an answer when we haven't seen a full gameplay video. your 4080 destroys a ps5. the gpu equivalent for the ps5 is a 2070 super. Yet there have been more triple A games running on PS5 than PC in recent memory.
