8 de jul. de 2024 · William Seymour, duke of Somerset (d. 1660), grandson and heir of Edward, gave his three daughters Frances (d. 1681), Mary (d. 1673), and Jane (d. 1679) an interest in the manor, possibly in 1653.

The heirs to the duke's estates were his three aunts, Frances, Mary, and Jane, and his sister Elizabeth.
Hace 6 días · A brass on the south wall of the chancel commemorates Edward (d. 1631 aged 11 months), son of William Seymour, duke of Somerset (d. 1660). In 1553 the church kept its silver chalice, but 17 oz. of silver were taken for the king. In 1783, besides the chalice, the church had some pewter vessels.
