I just listened to the Peel sessions recording after decades. It is exceptional - live and pretty clean, my favorite kind of JD performance. I listened to this band incessantly in the dark days of my teens and going back to this is like doing powerful drugs.

13 de jun. de 2024 · Through this thread I've just discovered a load of Stump Peel Sessions I have never heard before. I bought at the time the original 4 track EP from '86, but had no idea they recorded three more sessions; another '86 sesh and 87', '88 ones for the show. It's all on YouTube.
