Welcome to Year 7. I would like to welcome each and every one of you to the Bournemouth School community. I am an Assistant Headteacher, and the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), who line manages the admissions process, and transition work, at Bournemouth School. I also oversee the Heads of Years 7 and 8.
Curriculum Intent. Our curriculum has three core aims: Provide students with breadth of knowledge. Enable our students to develop a range of skills. Provide students with a wealth of opportunity. We ensure all our students follow the national curriculum in lessons at Key Stage 3 (Y7-9) and Key Stage 4 (Y10-11).

This is partly due to its high academic standards and expectations of students. There is a strong sense of community and students have respect for themselves and others.
