Welcome to Stella Mann College of Performing Arts. We are excited to be able to offer Dance and Drama Awards, Higher Education Funding up to BA Honours level, and Boys’ Scholarships to make your training more affordable. We are a full-time college providing tuition and training in the performing arts industries.
All courses at Stella Mann College are designed to create versatile professional performers of the highest quality, who will have a wide knowledge of the business they will be entering and a strong base of transferable skills, vital for managing a career in the performing arts.
Stella Mann founded the College that still bears her name in Hampstead in 1946, where it gained a reputation as one of the finest ballet schools in the country. Since Mary Breen took over from Stella in 1985, the College has diversified its training to include a wide range of up-to-date musical theatre and dance skills and styles.
Stella Mann College of Performing Arts is an independent, co-educational performing arts school and college specialising in dance and musical theatre. The college is located in the Harpur area of Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.

the huge annual expo of dance colleges, schools and businesses attracts thousands of industry professionals and young dancers. The College performs dance pieces on the main stage in front of the huge crowds and musical theatre and tap pieces in the smaller Showcase Theatre.
In 2003 the College moved to a wonderful, purpose-built facility in the heart of Bedford, where it has continued its development into a training institution that meets the demands of this most competitive but rewarding market place – the performing arts.
