30 de jun. de 2024 · I installed latest Focusrite driver 4.63.23.563, dated June 19, 2019. I selected the Scarlett as the default recording device in Windows, specifying 48000Hz (have tried both 16-bit and 24-bit with the same result). In DVR preferences, I selected Focusrite Scarlett as the audio I/O device and as the left and right monitors.
Hace 5 días · I plugged the 2i2 with focusrite drivers installed, 48khz and 512 samples, and I was still having pops and cracks. Then, I decided to uninstall the focusrite drivers, restarted the PC, opened resolve, and did a stress test on a full edit with 9 video tracks and 7 audio tracks at full res HD, and I am happy to report that it's recording fine.

25 de jun. de 2024 · Taking a lot of cues from this thread, I made all my 3 displays work from the 1070 gpu, so the RTX 2080 stays free, changed the playback resolution via Playback > Timeline Proxy Mode > Half Resolution, and installed the focusrite official drivers to be able to adjust the buffer to a higher value. Very confusing. 2) switching USB ports. 3) Re-installing the Focusrite drivers. 4) Have been trying to make sense of the details on the Interact forum but still confused with "wasapi loopback" etc. Please help this novice.
