She is marvellously fleshy and eats with gay abandon, unlike any of the other women. It is a bit of a hallmark of ‘Fanny Cornforth’, but possibly not an untruth. Plus, it makes a pleasant change to see that amount of woman naked, although she was taking a hell of a risk as Rossetti appears to live in a greenhouse.
