20 de oct. de 2000 · This is a remake of Bedazzled (1967), a British black comedy that starred and was written by two renowned comedy performers, Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. Both films have essentially the same story wherein The Devil offers a hapless schmuck seven wishes but uses trickery to get around the wording of each wish and make his life miserable.

Bedazzled is a 1967 British comedy fantasy romance film. It features Peter Cook, Dudley Moore, Eleanor Bron, and Raquel Welch. It is a comic retelling of the Faust legend, set in the Swinging London of the 1960's. A hapless loser sells his soul to the Devil in exchange for seven wishes, but has trouble winning over the girl of his dreams.
