Known as the "Hometown of Guanyin Culture", Suining is also nicknamed "Little Chengdu", "Great City of Eastern Sichuan", and "Water Capital of the West". Abundant tourist attractions include the 4A sites of Guangde Temple, Lingquan Temple, China's Dead Sea Resort, and a National Geo-Park.
