Classical Variations and Themes is the first studio album by former Stratovarius guitarist Timo Tolkki, released in 1994 through Goldenworks Ky (Europe) and Victor Entertainment (Japan); [1] and reissued in 2004 through Irond Records.

Track 2 was originally composed in 1986 for Tolkki's main band Stratovarius, and it was later included in their 1998 compilation The Past and Now. Track 3 is taken from the Concierto de Aranjuez, a 1939 composition for classical guitar and orchestra by the Spanish composer Joaquín Rodrigo.
