16 de dic. de 2007 · Wholly Communion is a 1966 documentary of the International Poetry Incarnation, a historic event of Beat poets at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The film features Allen Ginsberg, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Gregory Corso and others, and captures the atmosphere of the Swinging Sixties.
Wholly Communion. On June 11th 1965, over 7,000 people filled the Royal Albert Hall for four hours, smoking, applauding and listening to men that would soon become myth: Allen Ginsberg, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Adrian Mitchell, and Gregory Corso were just some of the poets that performed that night at the International Poetry Incarnation.

It came to be seen as one of the cultural high points of the Swinging Sixties.
