I don't think I have it saved but right after askellad's death, that collage of everything thorfinn went through until that point. I paused reading for a day and stared at that panel for ages really amazing. And the panel where leif welcomes thorfinn with askellad and thors by his side.
Thorsson, also nicknamed Karlsefni, is the main protagonist of Vinland Saga. He is a former warrior of Askeladd's band as well as a former slave on Ketil’s farm who earned his freedom.
I think I'll forever be salty about the fact that there was no in-between Gurdid confessing her love over to Thorfinn, which his response was never even shown, and then the time skip happening and their are married.

I have a feeling Vinland Saga will have a really sad ending with Thorfinn realising that his dream of a land without violence is impossible. Some major characters will die as well I'm guessing. Man...

The pacifism and conflicts it explores does greatly effect Thorfinn’s character. However, i feel you on wanting more violence. The direction the manga has taken is a very different tone to how it started, so if you’re not interested in it it’s perfectly fine to look for something else.
