Run the FlexNet utility, "lmutil" to obtain the "Hostname" and "MAC address" of the machine running the Ansys license manager. If several MAC addresses (from the '-ether' argument) were found, use the first MAC address from the list.
This is the standard/default installation procedure for the Ansys license manager which includes the Ansys license management center web interface. Extract the files and run "Setup" to install the Ansys license manager.

2 de feb. de 2024 · I have installed ansys incorrectly by entering the wrong license server, after i installed i put the hostname different from the one in the license manager, now every time I try to start the license the program does not confirm that my hostname is in the license.
Run the following procedure on each system that you have designated to be a license server. During the process, you will be prompted for information about yourself and your company. The procedure will automatically obtain the machine's hostname and FlexNet hostid.
