George Emil Palade (Iaşi, 19 de noviembre de 1912-Del Mar, 8 de octubre de 2008) fue un biólogo celular nacido en Rumanía y naturalizado estadounidense. Fue miembro de la facultad de la Universidad Carol Davila de Bucarest hasta 1945, cuando fue a Estados Unidos por estudios postdoctorales.
