The SF90 Stradale has a 90° V8 turbo engine capable of delivering 780 cv, the highest power output of any 8-cylinder in Ferrari history. The remaining 220 cv is delivered by three electric motors, one located between the engine and the new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission on the rear axle, and two on the front axle.
The SF90 XX Stradale delivers the most efficient aerodynamic performance of any Ferrari road car, making it comparable only to that of the LaFerrari supercar. It delivers double the maximum downforce of the SF90 Stradale, improving grip and yielding a palpably faster lap time at Fiorano.
El motor de combustión turbo en V de 90° es capaz de desarrollar 780 CV, la mayor potencia jamás alcanzada por un motor 8 cilindros de Ferrari, a los que se añaden 220 CV procedentes de tres motores eléctricos. Dos en el eje delantero y uno en el trasero.
Ferrari states that the SF90 Stradale is capable of accelerating from a standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.5 seconds, 0–200 km/h (124 mph) in 6.7 seconds and can attain a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph). It is the fastest Ferrari road car on their Fiorano Circuit as of 2020, seven tenths of a second faster than the LaFerrari.
El SF90 XX Stradale ha heredado la disposición PHEV característica del SF9O Stradale, en la que el motor de combustión interna V8 se integra con tres motores eléctricos, dos independientes en el eje delantero y uno situado entre el motor y la caja de cambios en la parte trasera.
