The Oath is a duo of guitarist Linnea Olsson and vocalist Johanna Sadonis, who met in Berlin and formed a band inspired by Sabbath, Trouble, Angel Witch and more. Their debut album, recorded in Stockholm, features nine songs of raw, melodic and occult rock.
The Oath have been gathering plenty of column inches recently before their self-titled debut album has even come out, but with a cursory glance at the band and a quick listen it's not hard to understand why.
