This guitar has been in my possession for close to 10 years now. It's been lightly used for home playing and recording, but probably has only left the house once or twice since I acquired it. Sounds and plays absolutely phenomenal. A few dings and nicks, but overall in very good condition.

1984 Hamer Steve Stevens SS1 with original hardshell case. There is light finish checking and several small dents and dings commensurate with an instrument that has been played. The frets are still in good shape and the guitar is 100% original.
1984 Hamer USA Steve Stevens Model SS1 Guitar with original Hamer hardshell case. This guitar plays like butter and has a variety of killer clean and huge distorted tones. The frets are good, electronics are clean, Floyd Rose works perfectly.

Idol’s guitarist, Steve Stevens, caught the attention of the guitar world and in ’84 he hooked up with Hamer to create the Prototype SS. The Prototype SS was Hamer’s first “superstrat” (at least in terms of pickup layout).

" Eyes Without a Face " is a song by the English rock musician Billy Idol, from his second studio album Rebel Yell (1983). It was released in April 1984 as the second single from the album. The song is softer and more ballad -like than most of the album's other singles.
