La Sociedad de la Justicia de América, o SJA (Justice Society of America o JSA en su denominación estadounidense), es un grupo de superhéroes de DC Comics y primer cómic de un equipo de superhéroes en la historia.
The Justice Society are a team of super powered individuals founded to defend the world more effectively. Founded and led by Carter Hall , the team began with an integrated lineup with the Atom Smasher and Doctor Fate , operating on many missions and gaining fans over time.
In 1940, circumstances led eight of these Golden Age heroes to combine forces against Hitler and the Axis Powers. After this first team-up, they decided to regularly meet and support each other as the Justice Society of America, history’s first team of superheroes.
