JLSM published a mini novel on collection of short stories written by Mr Edward Lee. The aim of this publication is to cultivate reading culture among Japanese language learners as well as to promote the Japanese Choral Speaking Competition organised annually by JLSM.

JLPT or the Japanese Language Proficiency Test is held worldwide to evaluate and certify proficiency in Japanese of non-native speakers, covering language knowledge, reading and listening ability. There are 5 different proficiency test levels from the highest (N1) to the lowest (N5). It is held twice a year in July and December.
