Thomas Malory (c. 1416 – 14 de marzo de 1471), CBE, fue el autor o compilador de La muerte de Arturo. Existen varias hipótesis sobre la identidad de Malory, aunque la más aceptada dice que se trata de un inglés de Newbold Revell en Warwickshire .

The second candidate to receive scholarly support as the possible author of Le Morte Darthur is Thomas Mallory of Papworth St Agnes in Huntingdonshire, whose will, written in Latin and dated 16 September 1469, was described in an article by T. A. Martin in the Athenaeum magazine in September 1897. [9]
