Charlotte Rhead (19 October 1885 in Burslem – 6 November 1947) was an English ceramics designer active in the 1920s and the 1930s in the Potteries area of Staffordshire. Charlotte Rhead was born into an artistic family.

RHEAD, Charlotte (1885-1947), pottery artist, Burslem. Charlotte Rhead was born in Burslem on 19 October 1885, the fourth child of Frederick Rhead. She worked as an artist for T. and R. Boote, Crown Pottery, Wood and Sons and Burgess and Leigh, Burslem.

28 de may. de 2013 · This is an occasional blog about Crown Ducal pottery, some of it relating to the work of Charlotte Rhead while she worked there. But it is not exclusively about Charlottes work, I have an interest in what Crown Ducal produced throughout its history, 1915-1974.
Charlotte Rhead worked for a number of pottery companies, including H. J. Wood where most of her designs are marked 'Bursley Ware'. She produced cheerful designs, including some tubelined work.
