Gulshan Kumar Dua (5 May 1951 – 12 August 1997), was an Indian film and music producer and businessman who was the founder of the Super Cassettes Industries Limited (T-Series) music label in the Bollywood industry. After founding T-Series in 1983, Dua established it as a leading record label in the 1990s.

Gulshan Kumar Dua (गुलशन कुमार) (1956, Delhi - 1997, Bombay) [1] fue un rapero, productor indio de música, fundador del sello T-Series y productor de cine de Bollywood rap. [2] Su hija Tulsi Kumari Dua, es una cantante de soundtracks.
1 de jul. de 2021 · Gulshan Kumar, the owner of T-Series, was shot dead while coming out of a temple in Mumbai on August 12, 1997. The killers, including Rauf, had been keeping a tab on Kumar’s movement for over two months before they fired bullets at him.
Gulshan belonged to a humble Punjabi family background as his father was a juice seller in Daryaganj, Delhi. Kumar used to help his father with the family business. He started his business by manufacturing audio cassettes, agarbattis, bottled water, detergents and ceiling fans.
