Philip Stanley Wilberforce Goldson (25 July 1923 – 3 October 2001) was a Belizean newspaper editor, activist and politician. He served in the House of Representatives of Belize as member for the Albert constituency from 1965 to 1998 and twice as a minister.
Goldson’s Belize. When Philip S. Goldson entered this world on July 25, 1923, Belize was still called British Honduras and was a colony of the British Empire. The colony itself had been built on the backs of enslaved African people laboring first in the lumber and then the mahogany industries.

Goldson was one of the founding members of the People’s Committee formed on December 31, 1949 in response to the devaluation of the Belize dollar. Later he would also become one of the founding members of the People’s United Party.
