Vladímir Karpóvich Pikálov (en ruso: Владимир Карпович Пикалов; n. 15 de septiembre de 1924 en Armavir, Óblast del Sudeste 1 - f. 29 de marzo de 2003 en Moscú, Óblast de Moscú) fue un coronel-general ruso .
Vladimir Karpovich Pikalov (Russian: Владимир Карпович Пикалов; 15 September 1924 – 29 March 2003) was a Soviet general. He commanded the Chemical Troops of the USSR from 1968 to 1988. During World War II, Pikalov took part in the battles of Moscow, Stalingrad and Kursk. He was wounded several times.
Vladimir Pikalov himself undertook the task. In contrast to what was shown in the series, he went to a place not in adapted for this truck but in BRDM-2RS pollution detection vehicle (it is not clear whether he did it himself or was one of the crew members).
