Angelo Bartlett Giamatti (JEE-ə-MAH-tee; 4 de abril de 1938 - 1 de septiembre de 1989) fue un profesor estadounidense de literatura inglesa del Renacimiento, presidente de la Universidad de Yale y séptimo Comisionado de las Grandes Ligas de Béisbol.
Bart Giamatti was born on April 4, 1938 and started serving as the Commissioner of Major League Baseball on September 8, 1988. Less than one year later, his reign as commissioner ended when he died of a heart attack at only fifty-one years old.
