Tenor italiano. Beniamino Gigli nació el 20 de mayo de 1890 en Roma, Italia. Se formó con Agnese Bonucci, Cotogni y Rosati en Roma y su debut tuvo lugar en 1914 con La Gioconda de Amilcare Ponchielli. En 1919 actuó por primera vez en América del Sur.
Beniamino Gigli was one of the greatest Italian operatic tenors of the first quarter of the 20th century. Gigli studied in Rome, and, after winning a competition at Parma in 1914, he made his debut at Rovigo, Italy, as Enzo in Amilcare Ponchielli’s La gioconda.
