Azymuth is a Brazilian jazz-funk group formed in 1973. The original lineup was a trio composed of José Roberto Bertrami , Alex Malheiros (bass, guitars), and Ivan Conti (drums, percussion). Kiko Continentino joined the group in 2015 as the band's keyboardist after Bertrami's death.

Azymuth. More images. Profile: Brazilian group started out in the early 1970s as Grupo Seleção, a cover band. In 1973 they changed the band's name to Azymuth, inspired by a Marcos & Paulo Sérgio Valle song. (They also backed Marcos Valle on his Previsão Do Tempo album released in 1973.)
