  3. A few notes on our visit: * The public road leading to Lone Creek Falls is horrifying to drive - there are more potholes than tar. You'll need some time for this drive of approx. 8km. * There is a R30 per person entrance fee. * The car park is very safe and it's an easy 250m walk to the waterfall on a flatish path.

As with most of the waterfalls in Mpumalanga, there is a nominal entry fee (approx. R5 per person) because the falls are on forestry land, but in return the visitor’s facilities are well-kept and there is security on site.
