Janicza Michelle Bravo Ford (/ dʒ ə ˈ n ɪ k s ə /) is an American film director, film producer, and screenwriter. Her films include Gregory Go Boom, a winner of the short-film jury award at the Sundance Film Festival; Lemon, co-written with Brett Gelman; and Zola, co-written with playwright Jeremy O. Harris.
Janicza Bravo is a Panamanian-American filmmaker who has directed and written shorts and TV shows, such as Zola, Lemon, and Dear White People. She has also worked as a costume designer and actress in various projects, including Atlanta and Mrs. America.
