American old school hip hop DJ/producer. Dr. Rock began his career as one of the original DJs in Lonzo's Wreckin' Cru during the early 1980's. When the crew made the transition from being a mobile DJ group to recording and performing music, Rock left and relocated in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Rock scooped the local hip-hop scene and gathered rapper Fresh K and rapper Doc T to form the Fila Fresh Crew. Dr. Rock is not a legally certified doctor, the title is merely an embellishment of his DJ name, as was common in the rap scene in the '80s and '90s.
