Cheam School is a mixed preparatory school located in Headley, in the civil parish of Ashford Hill with Headley in Hampshire. Originally a boys school, Cheam was founded in 1645 by George Aldrich.

10 de oct. de 2021 · Founded in 1645, the school is the oldest private school in the country and has been educating students for close to 400 years. For 215 years the school was situated in Cheam, once in Surrey but now part of the London borough of Sutton.
