Mind of My Mind (1977) is a science fiction novel by American writer Octavia E. Butler. Mind of My Mind is the prequel to Butler's novel Patternmaster, and is the second novel in the Patternist series.

Mind of My Mind is the second of Butler's "Patternist" novels, but as it is a stand-alone story that deals with the Patternists' origins, it can be read before any others. The story introduces us to Doro, an immortal possessed of stupefying paranormal powers.
