Stavros George Livanos (Greek: Σταύρος Λιβανός; 1891– May 28, 1963), was a Greek shipowner, native of Chios, and the founder of the Livanos shipping empire. He was also a rival as well as father-in-law to billionaire Greek shipping tycoons Aristotle Onassis and Stavros Niarchos.
Father-in-law of both Onassis and Niarchos. Before the Livanos family began its expansion in the early 19th century, led by Stavros G. Livanos, the village of Kardamyla in Chios was not as prominent a shipping and seafaring centre as it became in the latter part of the 20th century.

Stavros Spyros Niarchos (en griego: Σταύρος Σπύρος Νιάρχος; 3 de julio de 1909 - 16 de abril de 1996) fue un magnate y multimillonario griego. A partir de 1952, hizo construir los petroleros más grandes del mundo para su flota.
