We are an ambitious, successful, and heavily oversubscribed 11-18 co-educational, Church of England, comprehensive school of just under 1800 students, serving families from the whole of greater Bristol and beyond.
St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School is the only Church of England secondary school in the Diocese of Bristol. It is a comprehensive state school and therefore does not select on academic merit.
You will receive a warm welcome from the Headteacher and also hear all about our admissions process. There will also be a tour of the school facilities where you will see lessons taking place and students learning. Open mornings were held on Monday 25, Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 September 2023 .
SMRT is an Anglican voluntary-aided school and admits children from all Christian communities in the Bristol area. More than 80 places of worship are represented, including mosques. The school offers 216 places each year.

Children who arrive after 08.55am enter via the school office and will incur a late register mark. School day times (Breaks): Years 1, 2 and 3 -10:25am-10:45am. Years 4, 5 and 6 -10:45-11:05am School day times (Lunch): Nursery and Reception Ash & Elm -11:30 - 12:30pm. Year 1 (Willow & Hawthorn) - 12:05pm- 13:05pm
