Gavin is an Irish actor best known for his work as Mackin in the hit drama Taken Down (2018). Known for his character portrayal of real-life people, Gavin took on the role of Northumbria Police Chief, Steve Neill in The Hunt for Raoul Moat (2023), as well as his critically acclaimed role of Sean Doherty opposite Aidan Gillen in Charlie (2015) .
