- About Us
Ashmole Academy (formerly Ashmole School) is a secondary school with academy status in Southgate, England in the London Borough of Barnet. Under the direction of the headteacher Balbinder Dhinsa, around 1,800 pupils (550 in the Sixth form) are educated in ages 11–18.
Ashmole Academy is a unique school that remains committed to delivering it’s motto; Excellence, Aspiration and Care for both its staff and students.
At Ashmole we not only believe in giving our students the very best chance of academic success, but also preparing young people for life beyond A-Levels. We call this period the ‘Pre-Undergraduate phase’ of their education.
Autumn Term 2023. First Half: Thursday 1st September – Friday 20th October. N.B First Day for Students. Tuesday 5th September. Half Term: Monday 23th October – Friday 27th October. Second Half: Monday 30th October – Friday 22th December.
