Trance Mission is a quartet featuring two-thirds of Lights in a Fat City, Stephen Kent and Kenneth Newby, instigators of a mutant hybrid of upbeat ethnic folk. Largely eschewing the cosmic predilections of Lights in a Fat City, Kent and Newby, along with John Loose and Beth Custer, whip up a scintillating, pan-cultural stew of exotic charm.
