Initially a double vinyl set that culls the history of Gong from it's family tree roots in Soft Machine in the 60's and the progressive rockers of the late 70's, to Mother Gong. The release is a collection of rarities and unreleased recordings of Gong and related bands and friends.

This two-CD set brings together the two volumes of Histories and Mysteries of Planet Gong, released by Voiceprint in the late '80s.
8 de nov. de 2008 · It starts out with some wild things and then has a few tracks from Soft Machine. It then goes into some Gong, Mother Gong but mostly contains Allen solo material. The sound quality ranges from very bad to excellent.
