Playtone (stylized on-screen as PLAY•TONE; a.k.a. Playtone Productions and The Playtone Company) is an American film and television production company established in 1998 by actor Tom Hanks and producer Gary Goetzman.

The company's name and logo originate from the fictional record label Playtone Records from Hanks' 1996 directorial debut, That Thing You Do!. The deal includes a sequel to Greyhound, a WWII thriller film starring Hanks, and Masters of the Air, a WWII series about the American bomber boys.
