1 de may. de 2020 · I have been in touch with Harvey Wicklund (who spent time with The Ventures as a roadie and also sometimes played bass when Bob Bogle was unavailable) and Bill Ford who was road manager for the group in the 1980s: both of them were devastated to hear of JD’s passing as are we all.
The Ventures are the biggest instrumental band in the world and this aims to be their first feature length, comprehensive documentary. The project was begun almost 10 years ago by Tacoma legends the Peterson brothers - Justin and Rob, when they linked up with another infamous brotherly Tacoma team Leonard and Teddy Haggarty.
