Point 3 Fire Album was re-released in 2003 on System 7’s own A-Wave label. released September 28, 1994. Tracks 1 & 10 written and produced by Steve Hillage and Laurent Garnier. Tracks 2 & 4 written and produced by Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy.
Point 3 is the collective title of the third and fourth studio albums by British ambient dance band System 7. The first of the two is Point 3 – Fire Album; the second, Point 3 – Water Album. The two offer different mixes of the same material, Fire using more drums and rhythms, while Water is more ambient.

System 7’s third album – Point 3 – was released in two separate forms:- the Fire Album and the Water album. The Water album had mostly the same titles mixed almost entirely without drums.
System 7 were one of the first techno groups to play live, and have developed a live performance approach that is a bit more extreme than their records, with tougher beats and hypnotic live echo loops.
