Thom Sullivan is a writer, editor and reviewer of poetry. His book of poems, CARTE BLANCHE (Vagabond Press), won the 2017-18 Noel Rowe Poetry Award and the 2020 Mary Gilmore Award, for the best first book of poems published in Australia in 2019.
Thom Sullivan grew up near Adelaide Hills, South Australia, and studied at both The University of Adelaide and Swinburne University. Thom has written many poems, and been editor of several poetry collection. His debut poetry collection, Carte Blanche, was published in 2019 by Vagabond Press.
Sullivan combines an attentive ear, precise and stylish diction, a sharp eye, and the restless energy of invention – and a reader is convicted by the poet’s authenticity, his joy in experiment. This is a remarkable debut that shows Sullivan to be among the best of Australia’s young poets.’

18 de jul. de 2017 · Tom Sullivan had a short collection of poems, Airborne, published in New Poets 14 (Wakefield Press) in 2009. His poems have appeared in a range of books and journals, including The Best Australian Poems, Australian Love Poems and Australian Book Review's 2016 States of Poetry anthology.
