Fragments of Freedom is the third studio album by English electronic music group Morcheeba, which was released in 2000. It was one of their most successful albums in terms of chart sales. Special versions of the CD contained a short CD-ROM video of the 'Making of Fragments of Freedom' and also music videos.

Big Calm is the second studio album by English electronic music group Morcheeba. It was released in March 1998 by Indochina Records and Sire Records. The album reached the top 20 of the UK Albums Chart, while the single "Part of the Process" charted in the top 40 of the UK Singles Chart in August of the same year. "

Big Calm - Album by Morcheeba - Apple Music. Morcheeba. ALTERNATIVE · 1998. In the hands of Tricky, Portishead, and Massive Attack, trip-hop earned a reputation for being dark, even claustrophobic. On their second album, though, Morcheeba preserved the style's sedate tempos and sultry atmospheres while opening up a world of warmth and color.
On their third album Fragments Of Freedom takes the British trio Morcheeba even more away from their trip-hop past than it did on the predecessor Big Calm. The sultry atmosphere, the mix of trip-hop, the dance rhythms and beats and scratches are still there, but it is clear that the Group another, more poppy direction.
