The University of Arts in Belgrade (Serbian Cyrillic: Универзитет уметности у Београду, romanized: Univerzitet umetnosti u Beogradu) is a public university in Serbia. It was founded in 1957 as the Academy of Arts to unite four academies. It became a university and acquired its current name in 1973.

The University of Arts in Belgrade was founded in 1957 as an association of four art faculties: the Faculty of Music, the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Faculty of Applied Arts and the Faculty of Dramatic Arts.
In the very center of Belgrade, near Kalemegdan park in Pariska street 16, for a decade and a half there is Center for Graphics and Visual Research “Academy” as one of the organizational units of the Faculty of Fine Arts Belgrade.
Although the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade has been developed as a traditional fine arts academy, with the Departments of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Art, it is also open to the new sensibilities of modern art processes.
